Dr. med. Daniele Riva

Dr. med. Daniele Riva is a specialised physician in gastroenterology and hepatology with extensive training and clinical experience. After completing his studies at the University of Basel (CH), he worked for many years in several hospital centres in Zurich and German-speaking Switzerland, where he initially specialised in internal medicine and later in gastroenterology and hepatology. Since 2020, Dr. med. D. Riva has been working at the Gastrocentro Lugano, where he provides diagnostic tests, specialist consultations, and second opinions by appointment. Furthermore, he collaborates as a consulting physician at the Clinica Luganese Moncucco. Since 2023, he has been a board member of the Swiss Society of Gastroenterology (SGG), a board member of the Swiss Intestinal League and a member of the national speciality committee (Facharztsprüfungskomission).
